Description

The Terminal Warehouse Building was the first poured concrete building in Canada. Designed in the late 1920's as a dry storage shed for general merchandise and cold storage, it was one of Toronto's first conversions of a former industrial building to a mix of commercial, office and residential condominiums.

Queen's Quay Terminal encompasses a specialty retail centre with over 30 shops, restaurants and cafes, approximately 400,000 square feet of office space on 9 levels, and the 450-seat Premiere Dance Theatre. Located at Harbourfront Centre on Lake Ontario at the foot of York Street, it is a short walk from the heart of Downtown Toronto.

The Art Deco style complex with 2 atria, multi-level interior courtyards and glass walkways has received numerous design and development awards. The building is 'listed' in the Toronto Historical Board's Inventory of Heritage Properties.
